Jeffrey is a wonderful combination of classically French trained but up to date on modern eating trends (Paleo, Keto, FODMAP, Vegan, allergies etc). Recently, I had a hip replacement and with the way we are currently eating (no gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, low carb), it was such a treat to have him help us out. Although I am now able to use the kitchen, I am having trouble letting him go!

Set for Dinner is a dream! This incredible duo helped create a wonderful four course meal for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Each dish was beautifully plated and delicious, and creating the menu was a breeze. Im sure they will work with you to create all the details you are looking for, but what I particularly loved was how they handled everything and I really didn’t have to do anything! They arrived on time, moved around the kitchen like they had been there before, prepared and served a beautiful meal, and left the kitchen better than they found it! I highly recommend Set for Dinner and we will definitely use them again in the future.

Meet The Chefs

Ellie is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. After stints in Jean-Georges’ flagship restaurant and Restaurant Aquavit under Marcus Samuelsson, Ellie made the transition to full-time private chef.

Jeffrey spent most of his professional training in Manhattan’s finest restaurants like Oceana, Cru, Bouley, and Gotham Bar & Grill. After moving back to CT, Jeffrey was Chef de Cuisine at Bar Bouchee in Madison, CT.
